righto, here are the updates sg peeps! =DDD
Im gonna take violin grade 8 on the local exam board AGAIN. haizz...no choice cus over here they dun recognize ABRSM (which is a weird thing) =( anyways though theres more to test over here it isnt very hard. so i shall take it next june probably. see how this goes. if i get grade 8 i get 4 credits straight for uni! =DD maybe i shld go onto grade 9, maybe 10?! then i can teach n earn extra cash le =DDD i just sit there bully kids =DDD still i bet my theory isnt good enough for anything higher than grade 8. over here the theory level is a bit weird. theres like onli 3 lvls for theory. for grade 8 i need lvl 2 and above this i'll need lvl3 theory. haiz sad. lol.
and oso im taking piano! just started a lesson. lets see how this goes. haha. but if i take IB next yr i wont be able to continue cus like its gonna be sooooo stressful 0__0
Plus im in a swim club now. =DDD hope im up to it lol. next week is the terry fox run. a fund raising run for 3 km i think. i dunno if i can still do it. ive grown pretty sloppy ever since i came. haha jkjk e pe here is no push over. id be lucky if i can get a C for pe...

had 2 weird dreams ytd night, here goes:
First one is, in some weird stadium the dunmanians were attending this singing karaoke or sth. anyways, YUNEN got pushed to the stage to sing. and guess wad, she sang REALLLY WELL 0____0 then even weirder thing is, i went onto stage to YUNEN's mic! then I SANG omg lol but i sang very weirdly its like "ultrasonic" voice. i dunno how to describe it. anyway all e dunmanians jeered n i rmbred clearly aft e concert i was outside the e stadium n YIREN was like looking at me and laughing (wld he do tt? 0_0) n JIAMIN was like saying "that was...uuuh....umm" and LIMIN was like going "nt bad wad...ting3 you3 wen2 hua4 se4 cai3 de4 ma4" LOL
2nd dream was like i was at this huge party in this ginormous room with a bamboo patch in e middle of the room. then we were like playing this game where you set these "explosive seals" (like e ones in naruto) and try to blow each other up -.- I rmbr it was quite fun actually. then i had to clean up the remaining explosive seals on the floor aft e game cus i was one of e survivors then i was thinking hw dangerous it was. i think the explosive seals might be too loud or sth cus i dint really here my alarm go.

its been like...3 weeks since my 1st day of sch i fink. nth much to say abt english classes. going on a field trip next mth. as for math, due to e over dependance of calculators, i made a whole bunch of careless mistakes for calculations. x( nvm that can be solved. in sci, theres this atom project we havta look thru biographies n stuff. the source citing for projects here are super strict i dunno why. lol and for electronics we've started on the blinker bot. i used a wrong tool and sorta screwed up (literally) so im gonna start over next class. our 1st camp is coming up in mid oct to victoria island. hope till be gd. next next week is pro day so gonna go out wif fwens. yeap tts all i guess im still missing some harder math stuff so if anyone hav any ideas where i can find some harder math stuff plsplspls tell me! =) oh ya french is real interesting, we're starting on a project soon! =)))

2nd + 3rd day.
2nd day uhhh...eng n sci are basically intros. sci theyre about to start off with chemistry thingys as well. so im glad they dont lag too much.
strings was uhh...i dunno if cher (Mr Roy) wanted "invoke interest" or wad. he made a bunch of accompaniments to pop songs. eh...i hope i can be transferred to a higher grade for strings tho. Grading system for this is pretty weird too.
As for electronics, its pretty cool. our 1st project's about making this blinker bot. then at the end of e yr we're supposed make an MP3 amplifier. cool eh? but there will always be some technical terms and stuff i needa catch up on.
3rd day (today) was pretty good. math again basically nt much cher just explained those point systems (how we're graded) since today's a shorter day than usual (dismiss at 2 which is 1.5 hrs earlier).
NExt was french. i guess i can pronounce a bit now, but i still havta learn some grammar and stuff over the weekend. it wasnt as bad as i thought. cher's going thru grammar next week anyway. i guess i can catch up. hes gonna go thru numbers and alphabets too. i actually talked with e counsellor abt placing me in french 8 but dunno why he insisted tt i try fr 9 1st. haiz.
Then its socials. we dint do much again. just do title page and stuff. Sth i forgot bout e 1st day. you know my socials cher is mr mcisaac right? he encourages speaking up and stuff to warm us up or sth about speaking. so on the 1st day he wanted us to tok abt e topic "cheese" then gt lots of ppl go blah blah blahing. then today he got us toking abt "tooth decay" then everyone went off again. and me too. he doesnt care wad ques it is. quite interesting. but srsly if i dun raise my hand at all in socials class i'll be losing tt 50% =( He oso gave some review and the reformation reconaicence (dunno how to spell) and the middle ages. i needa catch up with those too.
Last period is PE. went hme 1st to change b4 going back. used up my lunch time =( basically some warming up then soccer drills. dint get to play a game tho. maybe next week.
As requested by some IMBA person, i am gonna tell you guyz wad we'll be doin for pe this yr: soccer, badminton, weights, indoor soccer, table tennis, swimming, gymnastics, dodgeball, floor hockey, square dancing 0.0, wrestling (ARGH!), tennis, outdoor hockey, volleyball, football yeah those are it for the yr.
The periods here goes like this: Each subject is a block. on day 1s you have block X X X and X and day 2s you hav e rest. days 1s and 2s alternate day to day. yeap tts it. -.-

Today was 1st day. pretty good i guess. got a few friends now. we had math. i found the review a bit too easy (i bet every one of you frm sg will too) cus theyre grade 8 topics and nth is difficult until grade 9 and above. then later had FRENCH! OMG! I WAS TOTALLY LOST! eeeh...actually nt tt lost i mean when mr lawrence spoke all the instructions in french i was lost. i could still read a little =P so i guess its best for me to start frm the basic French 8 before going to french 9. =( then later is social studies (history and geog) basically introduction but mr mcisaac was real funny tho. class participation actually takes 50% of my grades in SS. omg i can die happy now. =(( then last period PE. thing is, there was no break in bet. SS n PE so i had to sorta rush to the gym. AND i dint know where it was. so i got pretty lost but somehow managed to find it on time. =P pro right? tmr im gonna have sci, eng, strings, electronics. heh. be pretty fun bah. im still trying to adapt here and get used to the "sch culture" (sounds like fungi =P)
