Just had e test. wont be skipping anything. turns out grade 8 is way easier here than sg bt frm grade 9 and onwards they start to catch and by grade 12 they oughta be more or less...what can i say, equal? i dunno if tis true or nt its just wad ive been hearing. Anyways im in MINI SCHOOL! so cool eh? anyways mini sch is one particular class in the sch. there'll be 28 of us in grade 9 and its BETTER! =DDD Anyways i had a resume sent to the school and ive just come back frm a interview with the vp and im in! hahaha i hope i'll do well. anyways i getta choose 3 electives now instead of 2. so im choosing french art n strings. i must really work hard for french tho cus i dunno if i can catch up. =( STILL, i shall try out churchill for IB next year.

Dawn of Spring

The golden age of the animals waking, the croaking of the choir of frogs.
The squirrel resumes its daily routine, humming.
The hard steel melts before the river, ducks emerge.
The trees stretch out their dormant branches, ready for jade-green leaves.
Nature radiates itself, the neighborhood darkens.

Instead of the usual farmers receiving
The golden rewards of harvest, the fields
Are replaced by the deafening beasts that men now control
And that roam with definite automation and somewhere there would be a savage
“Hurry up, I don’t have all day!”

The grass reflects colours of the lakes
The new-borns after decades of winter,
The decades which froze the pain, the past, then brought forth another.
The distant calls of joy of the children have vanished.

The neigbourhood looks forward to the dusk of fall.
The sun glows skywards,
The neigbourhood gets darker.

School's here a bit different. Ive actually told sb this b4 but id do it again since ive gt nothing to do at the moment. Anyways here goes once again: Teachers have their own classrms. For each subject we're having we go to the classroom of tt teacher so basically we change classmates for each lesson. =) Anyways tts abt it we still take those lessons in sg (except HCL) with an addition of 4 electives (including french, strings, graphics, art, craft, cooking blah blah blah). Oughta be quite fun bah i guess.
Oh ya Will would lov it here since ive heard frm my fwen eliza they do lots of sports during pe (thered be soccer, bball, some canadian ball game, swimming, archery, vball, etc etc). But too bad wilson if youre seeing this now you can go to 2J and DROOL =DDD
But as for academics its really nt tt tough. I took a look at science and theyre learning stuff like e particulate theory of MATTER i mean isnt tt wat learnt in sec 1?! and even some topics of p6 are taught! tts sec 2 work. of course there ARE some stuff we dint learn too like soil and even some geographic stuff in science like earth and quakes and stuff. So i guess id still learn SOMETHING> shouldnt be too tough i guess. for math theyre gonan learn trigo too! or raather again! so nice revision bah. =) I think i oughta be ok. Heard if im good enuff for a subject i get to skip one whole freakin' grade. xD (for tt subject)
oso i shall try out this IB programme (if im capable enuff) its like they teach you e university subjects (some of em) in high sch (me now) and you geta graduate early in other words (tt'll be abt 3-4 yrs earlier than sg boys xDD) Anyways tts onli if im good enuff i heard tis real hard. hmmm...haiz...
Anyways while tis e sch hols anyway imm gona chill out a bit. We're going crabbin' over e weekend =DDD That'll be catching crabs in the SEA nt some river crabs in some baby pool. We've gt e rubber boat n oars and safety stuff ready and we've got 2 of these "crab licences" so we get to catch 8 crabs! (in cages, mind, nt hands x()

Weather here's great. Its like having the aircon switched on all day long! (and night) so if youre gonna use an aircon to blow yourself to sleep every night here, youre probably an ass. Its a beautiful place, esp in summer (now). No matter where you are as long as youre not blocked (as in right in front of your face) youd be able to see either mountains or forests. cool eh? lol um...school's starting soon hope id be able to fit in well tho. Heard the ppl here are pretty good at sports and they run 3km instead of 2.4 (so Will you ought to come, maybe youll turn fairer!) Will update you guys on my school days soon =) Oh yeah for those who dint get to see the video (ppl frm 2J) i made you cango to Facebook and check em out under my name. Just forgot to mention my guardian here is a professional at computers (hes got 3 coms himself and more PCs) so internet isnt much of a prob really. Too tired. shall sleep. post more next time. =)

Its been a Doggy Doggy night -.-
As some of you may know (some), a couple of days ago ive "transferred" to my other relative's house. Theres this dog here called Tony. Just last night i was kept awake by him. First he grasped onto the side of the sofa bed i was sleeping on and started scratching my arm. Then obviously i had to put it down. Then he started licking it. then i realised there was this growing dark patch on e bedsheet and i found out hed licked my mattress too. So? Not wanting to sleep on dog muck and waking up with a drenched back i shooed him away, he seemed quite determined in applying his "glue" on my arm so i ignored him and turned my back to him and i thought my problem was solved. All of a sudden in e middle of e night i was woken to find him ON me. This time he was bolder and had literally jumped onto my bed (and along with that, me). So out of necessity i tried to shoo him away but in vain. So in e end we reached a compromise: He and my lower legs will share the bed, leaving my rest of the body "free". So? I ended up having to share a sofa bed with a dog. -.- AND i dint sleep well, out of the obvious. These are his pics

We were playing fetch the other day. Thats Tony returning with the ball. It was pretty fun until the ball rolled under a the sofa bed. We never played fetch since.

As an alternative we played this snatching game. See that doll under his claw? I pick up one end and he bites the other and we try to snatch it from each other (without him scratching or biting me) =D

Heyheyhey you all must be curious 'bout e Olympics bah? xDDD Havent posted too much since ive been bz watching e Games. Anyways for an update China's got 8 gold medals so far and Korea and Us has got 3 when i saw it (which was in e morning) perhaps more now since gt e swimming events. ytd night was bball and china lost to US (duh...) 101 to 70, supposedly the closest lost ever compared to e previous Games =) Got some pics of e "bird's nest" and "shui li fang" in night view will post tr i guess. Im gonna go to e indoor sports stadium tmr (not bird's nest) to watch e Gymnastics event so will get more pics i think =DDD Oh yeah my moms fwen gave me an Ipod nano! xDDD hehe... Oh yeah nearly forgot Sg has a bronze medal by e china swimmer representing Singapore. guess tt good eh? =)

This is e ANCIENT room im living in currently. This TRULY AMAZING historical artefact (ahem =P)was where I WAS BORN! it freaks me out to know i had this room for 14 years. Urgh.

This is my sadistic cousin. Everytime when he sees some killing or fighting on TV hed squeal with delight 0.0. Doesnt mean hes not fun though. That 1st pic is him in his underwear using a pair of bra for shoulder pads =P and the 2nd one is him using it as a helmet =P. After that there was World War 3 between him and my aunt who tried to regain control over the bra. LOL. But he can be annoying =X

Olympic torch is coming to Beijing soon! Heh! And im living somewhere near one of its venues =D Show some love for the country eh? Paranoid about security here. Today the torch is in Tian Jing (somewhere near Bei Jing) and very "luckily" my mom is heading for that very place. Since there isnt the speedy train thingy (which will onli need like 30 minutes to reach =)) cus the train station there is "locked up" for 4 hourse for the torch, she has to go by car and when returning there would be many many security checks (including a visit by a police dog, so cool). Poor driver.

Okay, NOW i feel like blogging =)
Everyone has an aim for life; i wish mine will not be to live tomorrow. What do i live for, what do i aim to achieve, what should i strive for? These are some hard questions i ought to start pondering over. It is time to live for something. I do not wish to be living just for tomorrow; i want to live for something more ultimate, something with an impact, perhaps. Answering this question could affect every decision in my life, so there. =)
I believe people live for the society. If people lived for themselves, than what’s the point of living? I live so i could enjoy my life and then leave this world, than why should i be brought here in the first place. Okay i don’t think everyone will agree with me, but this is only my view. As such i think, people live to change, not themselves but the society. But why should the society be improved? To make the lives of the later generations better? And why should their lives be better, seeing that they would live to change after all? Do people really live to live...? Somebody answer me...
If i had something to be proud of, it would be my ability to reflect. I have faced many problems and made many mistakes, but i think i have always figured out the reasons behind them and changed myself accordingly. At least i think.

Heard I dint do too well for Chinese. Argh, guess I'll just let it be. I shouldnt dwell on the past, I have a future. But all the same, I am DISAPPOINTED with myself. Flopping my last test too. Haiz...working harder, harder. I'm studying BASIC political science now =DDD nothing to do here otherwise, dint feel like violining either. No mood to blog too much today. Hmph.
