there was the expected snowstorm today. loads of cars got stuck in the snow while parking and ours barely made it into the lot. driving was pretty dangerous due to the slippery ice that had formed on the road and the snow that was gathering up on it. braking required several cm of skidding. the benches were buried. not many pics cus cant go out. went church.

If you have been keeping up with my dead blog (which is unlikely), you would realise i'm now having a sudden vacation in Canada, Montreal. i have just arrived and would be back in sigapore the 2nd week of term 1.
After a 6 hour flight to Beijing and another 10 hours flight, i have arrived at Vancouver, where time is -16 hrs of sg, and temp is about 2 or 3 C. then after 2 days, i took another 5 hour flight to Toronto (-13 hrs sg time and temp -1 C) and another 1 hr to Montreal. temp here is bout negative 15 degrees C and snow here is knee deep. lowest temp here is negative 30 degrees C.
Made a snowman today.Will go Toronto again for a trip and Beijing again for a few days near the end of my holiday.
interesting thing is, i took the vancouver flight at night and arrived at Vancouver on the morning of the same day!6 weeks more, and i'll get my Canadian PR. would have a snowstorm 2 days later with the fresh snow adding to this.the dog in the house is pretty fun to play with.
Would go skiing and stuff tmr, would put pics after i get back. Hope i don't miss much ecept for the orientation and have a great Xmas!
